Moodboards

Foodie Sophistication

observant nomad | passagem gastroniomica

Time for some new client work! It’s been way too long since I’ve shared any on the blog and I best remedy that. This little moodboard represents a recent client project that I’ve been head over heels with since I started it. Ok, it doesn’t hurt that not only is the content right up my alley (food + travel people!!) but I also have a giant client crush on the sweet couple behind it.

Patricia and Alex are a Brazilian couple who live in London, and write and curate content for their blog, Passagem Gastronomica. Not only do they talk about the best restaurants and hotels from their travels, but they also share some amazing looking recipes. Patricia has classical chef training, so she knows what she’s talking about.

For their blog’s redesign, we wanted to make sure we re-addressed the message of the design and remind ourselves of who the audience really was. After some hilarious skype sessions, we landed on a concept that both balanced the delicate feminine taste of the client with a more sophisticated, trusted, and traditionally influenced aesthetic.

I’m really in love with this moodboard and I hope you are too. We’re almost done with the website and I can’t wait to share more of this project with you.

What do you think?

What a gorgeous mood board! I just love the deep blues — those figs! — and honestly as soon as I saw the Manger logo I was hooked — I just love the style.

What a gorgeous moodboard. It’s so fun to see your design process.

Beautiful. Love the colour paleete.

Those colors are gorgeous!!!
