suitcase : amalfi coast, italy

March 20 2013

Spring officially began today and it seems everyone is talking about their spring vacation destinations. Mine will have to remain within the states but if I could I’d love to hop on a flight to the Amalfi Coast, Italy for some beaches, sailing, wine and pizza.

And since I can’t go, I decided to do the next best thing and ‘pack’ for my imaginary trip instead. So I’m resurrecting an old column that rachel used to compose and I plan to keep it around for a while.

When I think of the Italian coast, I don’t think of bikinis and sand. Instead glamorous Italian women flood my mind. Their 5″ high stilettos striking cobblestone and thick beautiful hair flowing behind them. This outfit has that certain look that I think most Italian women can get behind (ah hem - Solitaire White Patent Pumps).

Plus isn’t it all about the florals this season? I’m really drawn to this modern sheer button down with some wild floral accent. Just the right amount of over the top. And some trendy sunnies and orange lipstick to match. See you on the boat!

This all looks fantastic. And MAC lipsticks are the BEST. I live for my Lady Danger one.

I definitely have the shoes on the bottom left, but with a black toe. Love your blog — first time here, so glad I’ve made it! :)
