2013 spring resolutions

It may be snowing right now outside my window, but that won’t stop me from talking about spring resolutions. Every season I find it satisfying to daydream about the activities or changes I want to make immediately.
I didn’t get to do all the things I wished I had this winter, but I did start some important ones. In January I started saving extra income and paying down some debt which has been super gratifying. I also started budgeting my income better and coming up with new strategies on saving money. Having big dreams isn’t cheap and making small steps like these is really empowering.
But spring will be as it should – renewing. Renewing some of my favorite activities like flea market shopping, diy projects, biking, and picnics. I’m also planning a trip to Moab this spring and can’t wait to explore the caverns and red cliff faces. I also want to finish the several projects I have laying around the house – like painting, sewing, decorating etc. Turning my house into a home.
It’s also about that time for a slight blog revamp. Every few months I go through an itch to change the design direction. I think it’s natural as designers to continue to evolve and change our aesthetics, and I see this flux as a good thing! I’ve already started secretly pinning some of my favorite photography, styles, and design that I have in mind for the blog. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
What does spring remind you to revive?

This is a wonderful list of resolutions. I can’t wait to see what you do with the blog.
Dreaming of spring.
thanks Meg! Spring can’t come soon enough.
