moodboard : moody chic
One of my favorite parts about creating moodboards with clients, is how vastly different each aesthetic is from one to another. Some are more daring, others understated and soft. Each client’s process is truly fun and exciting to uncover. This one is no different. After all the images came together I realized how moody her aesthetic was, with a twist of high end chic taste. Gorgeous right?
This moodboard is for a wedding invitation design firm’s website. This time we’re working from an already established brand and building a website to follow, but the client felt really comfortable trying some new colors and palettes I suggested – which makes me double excited.
If you follow me on dribbble you know I’ve been working on the logo for the last moodboard I showed you. We were going for a soft earthy feminine vibe and I feel really good about the direction we came out with. Can’t wait to show you all the end work for that project.

I absolutely love moodboards, I make one for just about any project I am working on. It’s amazing how easy the rest of the designing comes when you have an overall colour & texture scheme thought up!
