A Birthday Comes Around Once A Year
Well, today is my birthday and next week will be the one year anniversary of this blog. I can’t believe I’ve kept up this personal journal for a year now, it’s flown by and I’m glad I’ve had a place to capture all the adventures I’ve seen this year.
As for my birthday, I’m one of those girls who looks forward to the ice cream portion of cake + ice cream more than actual cake. So every year I like to get an ice cream cake as my tradition. Cool vanilla ice cream with warm fudge and crispy chocolate topping. THE best.
Besides a big ice cream cake, I’m celebrating with a big birthday weekend. It’s full of games and partying with pals, gorging on French food, a board game marathon with the parents, and cheering on the Broncos playoff game this Saturday. Woo!
